I’m new to the Nuimage family but my experience has literally been life changing. I was so ill-equipped to take my skincare seriously and completely unaware of it. And interestingly enough I had gotten facials elsewhere but now I’m realizing that those were actually just face massages. I was completely blown away.

At the Nuimage Skin and Body Studio, I not only walked away with what felt like a brand new face, but I gained so much more. Not only was the space beautiful and calming, but Shaq was simply INCREDIBLE. She was professional, patient, and so knowledgable. She helped to ease all my fears and nervousness. I have now been able to take my skincare to a new level. I am a new person and I am FOREVER grateful!

I am happy to see that so many people have had a great experience with this business, but unfortunately I had a terrible one. This was my FIRST facial and due to this horrible experience, I will never have another one. I booked for the Nu Client Facial package, but the owner decided to add on the microneedling without my consent. When she was doing it, I didn’t think to ask any questions because it wasn’t in my package in the first place and I didn’t realize that this was being done. She never told me that she was preforming an invasive procedure. Most would be ecstatic to have this additional treatment, but I was not and neither was my skin. My skin is already sensitive and it had a terrible reaction to this procedure, which started to develop a day later. I had to work that night and I told her that I wear makeup while at work, and she stated that I should be fine. Mind you that I had to be to work 6 hours later. Per the research I had done, a person should wait about 24 hours before applying makeup to their face after having this type of procedure. If she would had simply asked me, I would had declined this invasive procedure due to knowing my skin may not take to it, as well as, I had not done my own research.

On top of that, she never gave aftercare instructions, so when I started to peel I was scrapping it off, which cause an increase in my already hyperpigmentation. My skin was more dry than usual and my self-esteem had declined drastically. I came back to the owner a day later and she admitted that she was wrong due to her lack of educating me. She refunded me $100 from the $360 that I paid in both my package and facial products. But she NEVER apologized for what she had done to me. I asked her multiple times why she had done this and she never answered. It has taken my skin 3 months to heal.

I hope that the owner has learned that it is her responsibility to get consent from her clients when preforming any treatment that is not already included in a package. I also hope that she has learned the importance of educating her clients, so they don’t make mistakes that can be prevented.

Not only did she give me a consultation, she also was nice enough to knock my unscheduled facial out as well. I will forever be grateful for her professionalism and down to earth energy! I’ve been going here for 2 months and have seen improvement in my skin since day one! I’ve always struggled with hyperpigmentation and acne. She is very knowledgeable about skin, products, and even accesses your diet to ensure you’re contributing to healthy skin! Not only are her services affordable, but her space is definitely an esthetic and she’s also a vibe. I’ll attach a before and after of my skin. This is two months difference with monthly facials plus products I purchased from her. At a very affordable price. Can’t wait to see how my skin will look by the end of the year! Highly recommend !

Nuimage is great. I booked her for a private event for over 40 ppl. Shaq and her masseuse were amazing. She was so professional and accommodating as we needed to adjust the time she needed to arrive and she made it happen. The massages were great and they were very friendly.
