Stan is a miracle man! I was referred to him in November, 2024 as I was looking for help and relief from a recent back injury and right shoulder pain. Instant relief in just one session (and super fast scheduling)! I've continued treatment and we've worked on several tight and painful areas. First of all, Stan had the perfect name, Stan the Man. I have had a hard time trying to find someone that would could do a good massage until Stan was recommended to me and boy was he the best. Not only did he massage every single muscle and muscles I didn’t even know existed but he also stretched me out. For my career calls for me to be on my feet all day and I workout at least 3+ days a week so my body needed a good massage and stretching. I am so glad that Stan came highly recommended and I will be recommending him as well.

I was always told by doctors that my scoliosis was not treatable. Stan has changed all that - I had a shorter leg by 15 mm when I first started going to Stan. After less than a year, my leg is now only shorter by 6 mm. Stan is straightening my spine!!! He has corrected my leg length by 9 mm so far. Truly remarkable!!!

I had an appointment with Stan this last week and for the first time in I don't know how long I am able to feel my back and neck. I have had chronic back pain and actually slipped a disk in my back recently. Stan was able to alleviate my pain and make it easier to work on my posture and move. I am amazed at how much easier it is to do every day activities from just one appointment. Im already working on setting up another session. I would highly recommend a longer session if you have certain needs or issues. He is very understandable and willing to help work on key problems you are having. I have seen every doctor and specialist there is but no one was able to match the 100 minutes I spent working with Stan.

LISTEN! I literally broke my neck, cracked my skull, and have had several bodily injuries throughout my life. This place got my body feeling 10 years younger! The owner, Stan, is very easy to get along with and knowledgeable in this field. I was getting massage from Asians at the mall twice a week, and now I can save money because Stan did such an amazing job I feel like I won’t have to come back for a few weeks. Stan is an expert massage therapist using a variety of modalities to balance, release tension and "melt" the muscles. My back and shoulders felt so relaxed after a treatment. I had a painful right foot, under the arch and Stan found the source, worked it gently and then showed me how I could work it at home. One treatment and then home therapy fixed it in a day!!! I highly recommend Stan. His studio is relaxing, inspiring and Apex Retreat is a perfect spot to go for self care.

I came to see Stan with back pain of 8-9/10. In one treatment he had me down to 2-3/10 and 2 days after 0-1/10. I was amazed because, I had been to other massage therapist, physical therapy and felt somewhat better and relaxed but, didn’t feel fixed. He identified I had a leg length disparency which was adding to my discomfort. I am very pleased and will continue to use and recommend Stan. When you go for your first or second or third visit he takes the time needed to make you better and explain what’s happening, ask questions and works to address your issues vs monitor the clock to not exceed 60 mins. I strongly recommend to anyone experiencing chrionic pain and discomfort as Stan focuses on making you feel better and finding the route cause vs relax you and make you feel better temporarily.
