My daughter and son in law chose Allenberry Resort for their wedding venue on New Years Eve, 2024, due to the lovely location and past experiences dining at Allenberry's restaurant numerous times.
The entire New Year's Eve experience was fantastic! Brooke (event coordinator) and her team were great! All commitments to include permission around personal decorating, permission for guests to check-in for early, superb food quality and service, friendly and accommodating staff and working hand in hand with our private day event planner exceeded our expectations.
The overall atmosphere from cocktail hour in the bar area with live music to the reception area down the lane, to permission for a cigar bar on the deck, overlooking the creek, sparkler send off, ending with champagne toast was awesome!
Brooke and team worked extremely well with bride, groom and personal day event planner to make my daughter and son in law's special celebration forever memorable!
I would highly recommend Allenberry Resort for your wedding!

We had a family gathering/celebration of life in the Carriage House at Allenberry. The room was set up beautifully, complete with the real fireplace burning, which my Dad would have loved.
The food was excellent with many compliments from the family. Brooke (our event coordinator) accommodated our requests and made it much easier to plan.
This is our third time using Allenberry for a function in the last year.
Allenberry is a hidden little gem in a gorgeous setting.

I hosted a Christmas family reunion for 32 adults and children this past weekend and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. The Crockett room was decorated beautifully, the table setup was exactly what I asked for, and the staff was incredible. We had the dinner buffet and the food was absolutely delicious!! I think every guest came up to me to say how wonderful the food was, the beef tenderloin was the star of the show, which is not easy with such a large group. The staff was so attentive and accommodating throughout the 5 hour party. I’m still getting emails about what a great time everyone had and how beautiful the facility was. Great job allenberry!!

My stay at the Allenberry was amazing. The grounds were so peaceful, the staff always helpful, and we especially loved the longevity center — this elevated the entire experience even more and I would go back solely for that. The offerings and biohacking devices they have within the longevity center are top notch, I truly felt pampered and love supporting my health in this way. The longevity center staff were so friendly, accommodating, and helpful in teaching about the different options and making thoughtful recommendations. Highly recommend booking at stay here!

Just came from, "thanksgiving" dinner. Got seated, there were 3 waitresses working the room. Sat there for half an hour watching waitresses visiting all the other tables, some several times. Finally we decided to go get food. My wife went, I waited incase a waitress decided to come to our table and take a drink order. She finally showed up and I gave her our order. I then went to get food. Got into the room, and as I went up through the line, most of the pans were all but empty, and 1 was empty. No one was replacing them with full ones. Got to the meat station and had to settle for prime rib because there was just a few small scraps of turkey left and a skeleton sitting on the cutting board. Got some food, went back to the table. Nothing was hot, it was all Luke warm, the prime rib was tough, and they had no toppings for the prime rib. Ate my dinner, all the time the waitress never came back and offered to fill my coffee. She did offer to refill my wife's wine, (probably because we had to pay for that and she thought she was getting tipped for it) but ignored the fact that my cup was empty. I was so disappointed I was considering asking for the unearned, unjustified high gratuity we were charged, back. You people need to contact the old owners and have them do holiday meals for you. That service was a shell of what it used to be. We won't be back. It's a shame that you have such a historic beautiful property and facilities and such crap service. Not even close to worth what you charge.

My family attended the Thanksgiving buffet. It was not worth the price per person. Not well organized at all. The line was long, by the time we got to the food area, only two dirty plates left, one little butter pat left, and the rest of the food was running low. By the time people behind us in line got to the food, they ran out of mashed potatoes, turkey and gravy. Whoever is in charge of these events had plenty of time to make sure there was enough food to serve those of us who purchased a ticket. I see there is a similar review from last year's Thanksgiving event. That tells me they didn't try to improve. I would not recommend this for Thanksgiving.

The grounds are beautiful. The room would have been nice had it been cleaned. |Upon arrival I pulled the covers back on the bed and there was a pair of men’s underwear between the sheets. I walked over to the check in desk and the girl came over to change the bedding. She said she wasn’t surprised because of who had been cleaning that day. She asked if I wanted a new room and I said yes but she appeared to be checking her phone for availability and it was taking a bit so I said never mind, you changed the bedding now so it should be fine. I was wrong. The strip of wood between the carpet and bathroom was not nailed down so every time I went to the bathroom it caught my foot. The wall closest to the window had brown smears on it…you can imagine what it may have been…black hair all over the bathroom floor (I’m blonde) and the kicker, someone’s bra hanging in the bathroom. I reported all this upon check out and the girl at the desk said, oh, sorry. This resort could be a nice getaway but I will never be back or recommend it based on this thankfully brief stay!

We just went to the barn for dinner but walked around the grounds before dinner which are beautiful. The only negative I would say is the pool area. The pool was absolutely filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The bathrooms at the pool were also closed. Not good for those who have little children. I was surprised there aren’t any swings hung between trees down towards the creek, which would be a great place for a few swings.
Other than that we had a great dinner.
