The experience my grandmother who has dementia had in this agency has been the worst. We wanted her to have 1 on 1 care in the comfort of her home .
But it hasn't been a great experience my grandmother has had many falls , has been left alone when she is supposed to have 24 hour care. Constant issues with diaper changing . When family advocates for their loved ones they say we complain too much and that don't give aides a chance . Correct we will not give aides a chance to continue neglecting are grandmother. We will continue to advocate as we should .
This agency has no standards when hiring aides to care for vulnerable seniors . They do not drug test before hiring , some factories have higher standards when it comes to hiring staff than this agency. They tried to place an aide on my grandmother's case that had just been fired by another agency for neglecting her client . We were all very disappointed that they thought it would be beneficial for my grandmother to be cared for by someone who just got fired , they just want to fill up the schedules and not really looking into work history of who they are hiring to fill that spot. I would never recommend this agency to anyone.

Overall it has been a horrible experience with this company .
My mother has dementia and has a 24 hour case she should never be left alone and she has been left alone a couple times and she has got injured as a result of being left alone .
Caregivers have brought their children to work and stay overnight at my mother's house without permission.
Overnight caregivers taking benadryl and falling asleep and my mom left the apartment and ended up in someone else's apartment for over 45 minutes .
I have complained about cargivers that do not change my mom the entire shift , which is neglect and they have continued to put that cargiver on the schedule knowing that my mom would not be changed and entire shift . Also there was an issue with drugs on my mom's case and the agency only wants to drug test 4 of the cargivers becuase the drug test are too expensive so they don't feel the need to drug test everyone on the case . Their main focus is not paying overtime and saving money instead of the clients safety and well-being.
I understand it is a business but the clients safety and well being should be the priority.

I’d like to say that I have had the pleasure of doing some work around their office in Buffalo N.Y., not only are the Staff friendly, caring and incredibly accommodating, but there is an overwhelming feeling of Family in the atmosphere. Love helping out there i will like work there too

Day 1 of my mom’s 24/7 care was a complete disaster. The aide that was scheduled didn’t show up. They sent someone at 6:00pm but she couldn’t stay beyond 8:00. I called them several times and was told we’re trying to find someone else. Finally Dave called me stating “there wasn’t any one to come and unfortunately my mom would have to be left by herself”. (The program my mom is in is for dementia clients only). I reminded him my mom’s medical diagnosis which he knew. I had to come back to take care of my mom. I live in New Jersey and my mom live in New York City. There wasn’t any follow up call. There’s never enough coverage I was told the hiring process is based on each client, my mom has/ had 4 aides and that’s all they have on her case there’s no coverage. I didn’t want one of the aides to come back who is clearly on drugs. I asked Jenny who’s the CEO if they tested their aides for drugs she said no. My mom had no back up coverage. They don’t want the aides to work beyond 48 hrs but will mandate them for 24hr. Every weekend there’s no coverage and the aide gets stuck from Friday 8pm-Sunday 8am. I called from morning to late afternoon no answer. I even pressed the prompt for if you have a problem with the client and no answer. Their phones don’t work until they find someone to cover. Then magically the phones work. They actually sent an aide I got rid of and personally told them I didn’t want her to come back. I allowed her to stay because I was there. I’ve been lied to and called them out on it. I have two great aides who I’ll be taking with me when I transfer to another agency

This place is sad, this lady pays out what she feels like you should have not what your owed, and her attitude is disgusting! The patients/clients deserve better. (Zero stars for me as well)

I was sick with a stomach bug that’s been going around and was sent home during training. I missed half of a day out of 10 unpaid training days due to a NATIONAL ILLNESS thats been going around and they fired me because I was sick. They also allowed another girl in training class to go home twice and she was able to stay with the company! The pay to begin with is horrible.
