Montserrat is a friggin magician! Love her, came in with lower back pain and after an acupuncture + massage I left pain free. Not trying to exaggerate, it was quite shocking how pain free I was. Unfortunately my symptoms are a result of poor muscle movement so she was helpful in giving me advice for exercises to strengthen my core.

As a fitness instructor, my body gets beat up a lot. I take care of it but have been suffering with extreme tightness in my neck/shoulders for a few weeks and nothing has helped, I’ve had two massages in two weeks and nothing.

Luckily, Alquimia Wellness is close to where I work, so I set up an Acupuncture and Dry Needling session with Montserrat.

Acupuncture has been hit or miss for me in the past, but this was the smoothest acupuncture session ever. I felt the tension start to release pretty quickly.

The dry needling was magic! It can be a more intense sensation, especially with how tight my muscles were, but Montserrat knew exactly where to go without me saying anything. There was a bit of soreness after (which I was told there would be) but it went away after a few hours, and I felt so much better. Will definitely be back.
