Das Hotel ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Es wurde erst vor kurzem von Grund auf renoviert. Die Zimmer sind groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick auf den Hafen ist wunderbar. ||Das angeschlossene Restaurant ist sehr gut. ||Leider ist das Personal nicht gut ausgebildet. Weder werden die Koffer auf das Zimmer gebracht noch werden einem ( die zahlreichen) Schalter im Zimmer erklärt. Desweiteren schließt die Bar wann es dem Manager beliebt. Wir würden um 22.00 aus der Bar gebeten obwohl noch mind. 10 andere Gäste da waren und eigentlich auch noch bleiben wollten. Ein NO GO !

Ersteinmal besticht das Baron's Cove durch seine Lage in Sag Harbour. Dieses Städtchen ist einfach so wunderbar entspannt und schön, dass man dort alt werden möchte. Selbst ist das Hotel neu, aber in "altem" Long Island-Stil gehalten. Bietet zudem aber diverse nette Angebote, wie Tennisplatz, Basketball, Swimmingpool, Fahrräder, Gym, ... und das alles ist im Preis bereits enthalten! Das fanden wir sehr fair. ||||Der Blick auf den Yachthafen ist zudem schön entspannend, mit Cafe oder Bier auf einem Schaukelstuhl auf der Veranda sitzend... ||||Last but not least: Das Personal - immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Klasse!

Auf unserer NY - Hudson River Valley Rundreise wollten wir uns auch die Hamptons ansehen und haben aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und der Lage das Baron`s Cove ausgewählt. Wir hatten hier einen tollen kurzen Aufenthalt. Schöne Zimmer und Anlage, alles so wie erwartet. Überraschung für uns war das kostenlose Frühstück unter der Woche. Herausheben möchten wir jedoch den super lieben Service und die vielen Empfehlungen von Karen und Dot. Ihr habt Euch so lieb um uns gekümmert -solch individuellen Service erlebt man selten. Danke dafür!! Ansonsten können wir die Hamptons nur empfehlen. Die Strände sind der Hammer und die Städtchen und Häuser wie man es aus Filmen kennt.

Gute Lage direkt am Wasser. Alles Wichtige in Sag Harbour ist zu Fuß in 5-10min erreichbar. Schöne Zimmer, allerdings mit recht lauter Klimaanlage. Restaurant mit Außenterrasse, Kamin und teilweise Live-Musik, aber der Service könnte noch verbessert werden.

alles war neu renoviert, die Zimmer einladend, Hauptsaison die Preise zu hoch,||wir wollten einen Tag verlängern, dann gleich doppelter Preis der uns erst bei der ||Abreise gesagt wurde. Wartezeiten bei Frühstück und Abendessen viel zu lang ||- bis zu 1 Stunde -||Personal sollte erneuert werden - zu langsam !

Gemütlich Ambiente Nett

Just Wow! We have just spent 5 nights at Barons Cove and would recommend to anyone!.||The location is stunning, right on the marina with lovely views to wake up to and a nice sun set as well. You are 3-4 mins from Sag Main Street but far enough away be a lovely calm environment.||We stayed in a Loft suite and the room was stunning. Split level with lots of living space and a great balcony overlooking the pool. Nespresso machine with fresh pods each day. As an English couple the absence of a kettle was missed but we cheekily bought a kettle in town and with a fridge in the room could keep milk fresh!|||The Food is very good. Breakfast is a great selection and very flexible with what you can order and in what combination, the smoothies especially were excellent. We had dinner one night on the hotel balcony and the food matched the view, both are outstanding. Very pleasant bar and terrace for a drink pre or post dinner also.||What sets the hotel apart though is the staff. They were so good I made a point of getting names to email the hotel directly to praise them. We had an issue on the first evening with the room which Maria on the front desk listened to, came and checked out and agreed we needed to move rooms. No fault of the hotel just an AC issue that couldn't be avoided. However the way Maria dealt with it was first class and she had us moved and settled in in no time. She then went out of her way to speak to her colleague Saeed ( on his night off bless him) to ensure we didn't need to move again later in the week despite all rooms being booked.|||I must also mention Saeed for his general help and recommendations and friendliness, Mohamed on the front desk for the same and his incredibly cheerful demeanour, Cassandra in the restaurant, Kitty for her impeccable drinks delivery and her softened Irish accent and Mr Kitty as he became known ( Adam) out at the pool. All of them raise the level of the stay to top class and I have to say with incredible patience having seen how other guests treat them. They are all wonderfully managed and looked after by Caroline as Concierge clearly has the patience of a saint.||All in all a great hotel, staffed by wonderful people in a perfect location.
