Great resort. This is the second time my family has stayed here. It has a very nice water park with multiple tube slides other smaller slides. The surfing simulator was also fun to try. It is more difficult than it looks. Rooms were nice and clean. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the bourbon braised short rib was amazing. Resort has a nice location and you can walk along the lake and the river. In the warmer months there are many shops on the river. We still talked out to the end of the pier even in the cooler weather, it as great views.

Originally looked at going to the Wisconsin Dells (Kalahari) with three kids under 4 years old. It seemed pretty expensive considering all three kids wouldn’t be able to enjoy most of the slides and activities there. We found Blue Harbor and got a condo-style Lakeview room for a fraction of the cost of something comparable in the Dells. The water park is great for kids of all ages! The staff were very friendly. The room and hotel was clean. There’s plenty of options to eat out within 5 minutes of the hotel. Check out the view from our room!

This resort is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were perfect, ready for a 1pm check in. The grandkids had a blast at the waterpark. So did Gampa! We had a good meal at the restaurant and I visited the great snack bar too many times. The staff was wonderful. always said “hello” and the young gentleman at the door was awesome. Gift shop lady|( don’t remember her name) was a hoot!|And finally, the General. Manager Delaine is was a delight. We will definitely be back. 5 stars all the way!

We've been coming to the area annually for many years and for the last six visits, have stayed at the Blue Harbor. We plan to do so again but some observations. The rooms are showing wear and tear along with age. There was a little black mold in our shower/tub. The phone was not connected to the wall jack which when we discovered it wasn't working. That said, the resort is very clean and the rooms well designed. The location and surroundings can't be beat...but it's getting extremely pricey. Common areas are welcoming.. Breakfast has many options but it would be nice if coffee and hot water were out in the open rather than having to request staff for each refill. Oatmeal would be a nice option. All staff has been very friendly and helpful. It's an ideal place for parents with young children as it's very family friendly. The snack shop has many nice offerings for those who want to grab and go including coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, yogurt, cereal, baked goods, etc.

Exceptional Getaway at Blue Harbor Resort!
We recently stayed in a villa at Blue Harbor and had an absolute blast! The indoor water park was a hit - from lazy river to water slides, there's something for everyone.

Morning coffee runs to the nearby coffee shop were a delightful bonus, and the picturesque Lake Michigan shoreline offered serene moments of tranquility.

Blue Harbor Resort masterfully blends relaxation, adventure, and natural beauty.

Stayed here for a wedding nearby. Beautiful setting along Lake Michigan! This property would be great for a family with smaller kids since they have an indoor water park. The property should have more amenities for those who want to use their Lake Michigan beach. Rooms need updating. Get a room on top floor - rooms aren’t well insulated and kids running up and down hallways is easily heard.

We had a lovely weekend here mid September. This resort is enormous and beautiful. My 7 year old was so impressed when we pulled up in the parking lot. The resort is huge. It had a an outdoor heated pool, lawn chairs around fire pits (and s'mores in the evening) with some lawn games, beach access, and the indoor water park, and a gym. The indoor water park is the main reason we came, but we also swam in the outdoor pool and the beach (even though it was mid Sept and starting to get slightly chilly). The indoor water park is small but nice. There are a few medium big water slides, and 2 medium water slides, and some tiny water slides for toddlers. There's a giant bucket that dumps water out not very frequently (it annoyed my son he couldn't figure out how and when to be there to get water dumped on him). The nice thing about the water park is that it's contained enough and small enough space that we let our kid have some independence and do his own thing. It was pretty easy to spot him within a couple of minutes from anywhere. The wave pool was boring, it needed so much currents to push people along. It also had a Riptide surf simulator. We had never seen one of these before. We tried it several times. It is so hard. Some kids started to get good at it. My husband was decent. Our kid and I got thrown around a bunch. We tried until we got hurt. I'm glad I tried, not very many moms did this. We had a great weekend and would return!

They can’t get the food right, especially coffee shop and breakfast food is horrible overall they got figure out better food and taste hire maybe cook real one vs raise prices only . I come here for years I know and seen it all . I’m loyal to your hotel but so many managers change all is same if not worse with years . I don’t think anyone listens to feedback . Also, I have never seen soup where they give you like a 2 oz soup cup for in a small dessert coup ? . I would not mind paying you $10 to buy it, but come on, this cup is not for soup at all. Why do you do this I ask why you do this is not helping your place !!
Well, coffee was cold almost. The muffin is hard like rock. I know they are old and saving money . Saving like on those items doesn’t help your resort. For Christmas, they run out of ginger cookies lol dessert lol. How can that happen?
the owner needs to invest own money to get bring new revenue This way is not working for you

The huge barrel bucket that drops water in park from celling is broken for years I know that never works ? Why ? so you can’t find money to fix the bucket you letting the place brake a part that is just one example

The place has lot potential I would advise owner go to Kalahari resort wi get ideas from there implement to your place

Go up
