Always a good stay for me and the family. This was our second time visiting the resort. We stayed in the 2 bedroom loft. Loved the lay out of the room. Everything from the check in to the check out was amazing. Kids also loved the indoor water park. Bunch of other stuff to do around the resort. I would gladly stay again.

Camelback can be a bit faceless but it's overall a good resort that gets big crowds but organizes them well.

Ticket buying - Do it online, in advance. It's cheaper. The prices are lower first thing in the morning (7 am).

Beginner slopes - My whole goal was to get off the bunny slopes. I was able to finally do that at Camelback because there are more green slopes and they gradually increase in difficulty. So the "beginner" green slope (Meadows trail) is just a bit more difficult than bunny.

Lockers - They are $25 which I find excessive. I saw a lot of people walking up in all their gear to avoid using lockers. There are unsecured cubbies upstairs by the eating area, which I used to store my shoes.

People - although the registration process is all online, there were plenty of people working at Camelback, staffing the lifts, rentals etc. They were all really friendly and helpful.

Location It's a convenient 1.5 hour drive from Hudson County. A great place for beginners!

Stayed here for the weekend with my family and our dog. Our room was very clean, and all staff were extremely friendly and kind always. They have a very nice restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner inside. The place is kid friendly with many activities. Definitely would recommend.

Please be aware that they will not honor the room you book and if they are busy and will make you pay extra to stay in a Balcony room that you have already reserved. Front desk people are not friendly and do not respond to emails. They also do not check you in on time and refuse to let you have late checkout.
Also be aware that they say snow tubing tickets come with your stay but I had to pay extra for them which they refuse to refund me after more than a month of going back and forth with management. They told me to wait for my refund which they claimed they processed then told me that I was ineligible two weeks later.

Awesome place to spend a long weekend. We had a disaster turn out great. Booked a VRBO that was horrifying. Went to the resort and had to get a room there and we had an unbelievable time. We had so much fun that we are going again this year. Price is a little high but so worth it. We also had a very nice view of the mountain and enjoyed watching the skiers and boarders every day.

Terrible customer service. It feels like they purposely don't allow you to speak with a human if you have an issue. We booked with AAA rate, were charged a much higher rate, I spoke with two staff members on premise who told me they would fix it (they didn't), called and left messages afterwards, finally got through because I selected an option for 'Dining' since the phone service hangs up on you if you have a billing issue....etc. etc. etc.

I've never left a bad review but felt that it's important for future guests to be aware that prior to coming and after leaving, you will not get any service from a human.

We stayed Sunday into Monday and had a wonderful time! I’ve stayed at Kalahari a few where it was very noisy and smelled like weed every night. This was the exact opposite! It was quiet and clean!!!!! The waterpark was not crowded and was very relaxing! The employees were very friendly and amazing! Ditch Kalahari and go to Camelback!
