What an amazing hotel! We chose it solely due to its proximity to family over the holidays, but ended up thoroughly enjoying our stay. Our room was especially spacious, with a fireplace and reading area to boot. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning in their inviting dining area and found the staff to be warm and friendly. We will be back!

This hotel is right off of 95, but once you get there you would never know it. It is within walking distance of the small town center and the harbor. They have a discount program for neighboring states which I was able to use. Your stay includes a nice buffet style breakfast. The room was lovely. We were on the 1st floor. The windows had double panes, I believe, to keep sound out. Staff was lovely. They offered me a prosecco upon check in which was such a nice touch. I would stay there again if in the area.

My husband and I have been staying here for years. This hotel feels like a home away from home for us. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious. We love the gas fire places. The breakfast, which is included, is delicious. My only surprise is that there is no bath gel in the bathroom. Very high end shampoo, soap, conditioner and shampoo. But, no bath gel. Hopefully next time we stay here, there will be bath gel.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. The rooms are gorgeous. Hotel was so nice to leave a complimentary bottle of Prosecco too on NYE. My only suggestion is they need to use much better pillows (theirs flatten out) and offer firmer foam pillows. The mattress was also super firm. This combination meant a poor night’s sleep

This is a charming, tastefully decorated and comfortable hotel. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable beds and practical amenities (refrigerator, microwave)|The staff are friendly, gracious and accommodating.|The location is excellent- a short walk into Southport Village and a 2 mile walk into downtown Fairfield CT. |We visit every Christmas and would not stay anywhere else.

The Delamar Southport was just what our group of 5 - 4 Nursing School friends for over 45 years and my daughter, needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend together.. The hotel rooms were so comfortable.. the room size was perfect, amenities were great and the hotel staff from the Bellmen to the Housekeeping staff to the Front Desk staff - special shout out to Daniel - made our trip special.. Location was great - we attended a function at Leavitt Pavilion. It was so convenient to be close to the venue.. An added bonus was the “Taste of Fairfield” fundraiser for Breast Cancer that took place right at the hotel.. The group “Turn on Red” provided entertainment and was phenomenal. Miss you Tracey!!! I would not hesitate returning for another visit.

Fantastic Hotel! We dropped our son off at college and decided to stay two nights. Not even realizing we ended up at one of best hotels in the area. The staff at this hotel is extremely professional and courteous. If you want a high quality meal with a menu that won't disappoint you don't need to go far. We found Artisan was one of the best restaurants we ate at over the weekend. My daughter has a hockey game the following weekend in CT so we decided to go back since there is no better place to stay. Looks like I will spending a lot of time at this hotel over the next few years and that is just fine with me!
