While the bungalow itself was nice and simple, it was difficult to sleep because bright exterior lights on neighboring bungalows illuminated the room. Each bungalow, though simply furnished and designed, has bright white lights placed outside. I'm sure these lights are intended for finding your way around, but if only the hotel could turn some, or all, of them off at some point during the night then we would sleep better. The bedroom has shades, but no blackout shades, so a soft light constantly entered the room, preventing us from sleeping during our two night stay. The staff was pleasant, but provided standard service. I appreciate that the hotel is pet-friendly, but using rock salt on the snowy paths hurt my dog's paws. They should know better. The room's furniture could also be more comfortable. For the price, there are too many other nice hotels in the Catskills. We won't be returning.

While this hotel has a lot of potential, unfortunately we didn't sleep well.

The reviews mentioning the bright exterior lights are absolutely spot on! If staying in the bungalows, some neighboring cabins essentially have bright flood lights directed at your bedroom windows. These lights need attention and/or the cabins need blackout curtains.

We had the most fantastic stay at Kenoza Hall. It's a boutique spa hotel with stunning lake views, walking trails, gorgeous decor, a spa and yoga studio on site with a pool, hot tub, sauna, and a restaurant in the main house. They offer hotel rooms and bungalow houses. We stayed in a bungalow and it was incredible! Our stay was in December and it was very quiet and relaxing. We had lots of time in the hot tub by ourselves as well as in the spa.

Spa was great and you have access during your stay to hang out and use the amenities regardless of scheduling a treatment. I can't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back. Definitely book massages in advance. I called 3 weeks before and they were pretty close to booked up.

There is not much in the area to do and not a ton outside of pizza and burger spots for food, so it's best for those looking to unwind and stay onsite.

I wanted to have a night of r&r midweek with my pre-k son, and Kenoza hall was perfect. They were so accommodating to my son going to the spa amenities (he absolutely loved sitting in the hot tub while there was snow on the ground). The camper teepee in the room was adorable and my son was able to play in there in the morning while I slept in. :). Staff included thoughtful details for throughout at meals. We loved finishing our night with s’mores and hot chocolate by the fire pit. Highly recommend!

This place is a great stay for a little getaway. The resort itself has a very nice vibey feel to it. Being tucked away in the mountains is nice. But Kenoza Hall offers a feeling of being at home. It is definitely more on the upscale and pricey side of things, but it feels worth it for what you pay. It has great views, a spa, a big hot tub, and the lake itself is gorgeous.The whole property is beautiful and offers plenty of seating to take in the views from different angles. The Hall also offers free kayak/canoe "rentals" which was a nice bonus that we took advantage of. The food is outrageous and has a feeling of Hells Kitchen to it. The hospitality here is next level. The staff really go above and beyond and are super friendly. Juan & Michelle made our stay very memorable and are very accommodating. They even gave us S’mores kits to enjoy by the fire and tasted amazing. Really great staff. I would 100% stay here again.

Spent Christmas here and ended up extending the stay longer because it was so nice. The staff was so kind and attentive even though they had to work over Christmas. The food is really good and it so wonderful to be able to take your pup with you!!

We had an amazing weekend away discovering an awesome corner of New York. The location and property are great, however it is the staff and the hospitality that make this property amazing. At every turn, we found wonderful people who wanted to make sure that we had a memorable getaway. The room was great, view attached. The views of the lake were awesome and the property and the walking trails were private yet communal. Most places have one fire pit at night, Lady Kenoza had about 5, so we were able to have our own private smores just steps from the Inn.

Absolutely lovely stay at Kenoza hall. Our room was lovely and clean and the staff even brought up a fridge in our room for us to store our food. We enjoyed s’mores outside in the evening and also a really good brunch. We spent a day at the pool and they serve snacks in the afternoon including homemade delicious cookies. The guys at the front desk are also really nice and informative. We loved it and will be coming back - highly recommend!
