King Spa and Sauna is the perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the ordinary work week. I have been taking day retreats since the grand opening of King Spa and Sauna in Dallas (many years ago) and each visit has been worth while. You will not only experience a pampered get-away, but a taste of Korean culture.
King Spa and Sauna offers several saunas, soaking pools, body scrubs, massages, lounging, resting areas, food, beverages, movie theater, bar, water park, and so many other services. Lockers and a wristband device is provided. Be sure to bring a swim suit to experience the water park. Uniforms are provided for the sauna and R&R. There is also a wet area for showering, soaking, steaming, and sauna.

This place is great! The wide variety of sauna rooms are amazing. I enjoy the signs they have at every entrance explaining in detail the benefits each room provides. We did a couples combo massage and it was amazing! These people know what they are doing. They offer food, drinks, pools, and more! It's like an adult theme park for relaxation. I loved it

This is the place to be. For everyone. I work in the medical field so coming here and going for the full experience of all the saunas, the hot tubs, pool, and Swedish massage. My body definitely felt loved. My back pain is also gone after that amazing massage. The food at the restaurant was warm and delicious, authentic Korean. I wished I lived in Dallas so I could visit often but it was one of many, and I look forward to coming back.

First of all, I've been going to King Spa for the last 10 years. And as of today, they've lost two customers. There's were two hot tubs, one was cloudy, cloud, and foamy. The other was warm, brown, foamy, and smelt like sewer. All of the pools were cloudy, and you couldn't see the bottom; mind you, they're only 3ft deep. Couldn't take pics in the shower/ bathing area, but the water in there is cloudy, too. I felt so nasty in this place. And BTW, no refund!

I was very excited to visit my first time, having no experience with how you do things here, I was disappointed at the lack of guidance. I also found other ladies as confused and lacking guidance as we were. After we had kind of gotten the hang of things we were able to help a couple other newbies.
The nude baths in the ladies side was really amazing! The sauna was so nice!
On the common space I had honestly expected lots of herbal tea, remedies and detox foods.... basically none of that. There are a few fruit and veggie juices on the menu, but nothing that I felt was going to be worth putting in my body.
They have a theater! A bunch of lounge chairs to relax in (that seems to be the men's preferred snoring space) and a ton of different rooms to choose from.
There are so many unique spaces from infrared light, to a room filled with aromatic cubes from a specific tree that has anti fungal properties. Hot rooms and ice rooms, there's a room for everyone.
Now my reasons for a lower rating, the public pool was in rough shape. Cloudy and most of the jets didn't work as well as the water park side was completely closed. In general the whole pool area was looking a bit unmaintained. They don't provide any full size towels. The towels and uniforms that they provide you with are threadbare and worn out. There was a big glob of hair sitting by one of the hot baths. I think this spa was definitely at the height of its game at one time but it's showing it's age and may need renovations and updating. So much pool locker room doesn't seem necessary when they have a really nice smaller locker room in the hotbath area.

King Spa is awesome! The pool is great, the body scrubs are magnificent and I believe will slow aging. The got tubs are relaxing and the food is great! The hot and cold rooms are awesome, too! I love this place and I miss it dearly as I moved to FL and there's nothing like it here, unfortunately. The facility is very clean and taken care of! The staff is nice, and there for any questions you have. It's a must see, a relaxing and fun place to be after a stressful week at work. Go and try it out.

I've been going for 12 years now. I had both gone since 2022.
Boy has it gone downhill.
They closed the Waterpark.
The hot tubs are a mess. Foggy water. Cold water, jets broken. Bad.
Even the checkout computer screen was filthy.
When I confronted management, all I got was "sorry."
Really?

I wish this review was not 1 star! I have not been here since 2017 as I moved to San Antonio. I was so exited to bring my adult daughter and my granddaughter here. I was SHOCKED to see the conditions of the pool area. (Which was a big reason we came) They do not advertise that the kiddy area, slide, and lazy river are PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!!! The water was green/cloudy a lot of jets did not work, the hot tub had a foamy looking liquid on top of the water, and the pool tiles/decking were dirty. Everything about the pool was run down and dirty.
I wish there would have been a way to turn around and leave after seeing the pool area…so disappointed and I don’t think I will ever come back. The chairs in the media room were worn out and torn. The poolside restaurant and swim up bar are no longer open. None of the steam saunas in the locker room are open anymore either.
Kind Spa should close the pool area and focus on the sauna. The pool is a joke and I’m no sure how they’re even allowed to keep it open under those conditions.
