Paradise Stream Resort - Cresco, Pennsylvania

We stayed in the most expensive room with the iconic champagne tower hot tub and a heart shaped private pool. Those features were nice although the pool is full of cracks and chipped paint. Definitely needs to be repaired. But it holds water and is fun to swim around in--just know you're not getting any laps. The heart shaped pool is approximately 3 1/2 to 4 feet deep. Deeper than we expected anyway. And it's about 10 feet wide at widest part of heart and 8 feet long from bottom center of heart to upper middle area.

We had to sign and initial a 3 page waiver. Still not sure what all was on it. I had no desire to read the whole thing while checking in.

If we stay there again, we would check out a smaller room with the living room closer to the bedroom. And the hot tub closer too. It was definitely a unique experience having the pool to dip in whenever I wanted and same with the hot tub. But we stayed on the cheapest rate night and still paid $400 after fees and taxes. I don't feel I got $400 worth.

It was nice to force me and my husband to spend some quality time away from our normal daily routine and focus on our relationship. We both had a good time.

Hello everyone, this was our 10th state on this place not only on Paradise dream, but we’ve been to Pocono Palace and Cove Haven. This trip we decided to go here and get the room Diana oasis. First room we went, the fan on the bathroom wasn’t working and pool was dirty with other dirty spots around the room. So we asked them to change us and they did let us look into three other rooms. We figured to stay on the cleanest. Then when we use the bedroom, we saw some mode at the bathroom, by the air conditioning. As you can see on the window was a gap, I just shave the curtain and that solved the problem. I told the front desk about it and they said they will take care of it. this pool was cleaner than the first room we saw, but the waterline tiles is so dirty not that they can clean after we leave, but they have to empty out the pool and have special products and cleaning supplies to clean that crust of dirt that the water makes. I know it’s not dirty, but when we look at it, you’ll see that it could be clean better. The other picture you see is the step ladder going in and out of the pool inside the room, just the top part has like a sand step so you can have a grip going down, but the other two as you can see, doesn’t have it so it’s really slippery. Be careful if you go in one of these rooms in case they don’t change. Besides that, we went on a Wednesday and left on Saturday. So the menu for the food during the week is all the same, food was delicious and breakfast was every day the same thing they had basically everything though. But they at least should have some different plate. Game area, bar, outside was OK nothing crazy, very few people around. And we hope we can go again soon and see this small change that will make people happier and have this place packed every day of the week. They should redo their rooms from floor to ceiling, carpet is very dirty, marked where people walked. Also, the bed was loose, so we have a round bed that is loose from the header that thing moved while we were sleeping and we had to turn it around and he was missing a wheel in the center so if we would sit on the edge of the round bed, the other part would lift. It was just funny and weird. But bed sheets everything was clean. Everything was smelling good except the old smell off dirty carpet when we enter the room and can fill it a little bit then you get used to it.

The whole surroundings made the weekend a great overall experience. The champagne room was a great way to spend the weekend with the love of my life. It was an engagement weekend as I asked my forever to marry me. The theme of “paradise” was absolutely a paradise feel. The food was great for both breakfast and dinner, the service was great, and there were plenty of activities to make the experience unforgettable.

Definitely could use an update on some of the amenities and rooms. The benefits for the rewards program wasn’t explained and we missed out on a bunch of points that the front desk said couldn’t be added on even though it was never explained when we got there. Also, there was a lot to do (locally, offsite) that could have been explained at check in such as horseback riding, ATV rental and even a shuttle to the casino that is literally 3 minutes down the road.

With all of this said, it was a memorable weekend that we will recreate for years to come.

Me and my husband planned a getaway for our 1 year anniversary. The room with heart shaped jacuzzi was great, nice fireplace, good food and recreation included bowling, mini golf, and we went out to eat at a hibachi 600ft away from our room, and took a trip 10min away to the casino. We had a great time. The hospitality was awesome 👍

My fiance and I stayed in a Champagne room to celebrate our engagement. We have had great experiences with all the other locations except Paradise streams. The first room we got had no running water, so we were moved rooms which was no big deal. The second room we got was so dirty and obviously not cleaned after the last guest. Dirty bathroom and all toiletries were open and messy bed that had obviously been slept in. Not only did we get food poisoning from spooners. We both got chlorine poisoning. We were extremely sick (fevers, throwing up, body aches,etc). We were sick 3 of the 4 day stay. The front desk and shuttle people were the kindest people though. I would recommend the other resorts but not this one. We were super sad and disappointed that we spent over 1,800 dollars on this stay and were more than disappointed

My husband and I love coming here for a night or two for a quick get away. We stay in the champagne tower and the resort has tons of daily activities, mini golf, bowling. Cash bingo on Friday and Saturday nights is tons of fun and gets packed so there are big jack pots. We like hiking and there is a trail on the property but we usually drive elsewhere. Donna at the front desk is great!!! Breakfast is good but we usually get dinner somewhere else. Spooners has good bar food. Will always be back!

My husband and I go to this resort to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. This is the ninth time we visited and I couldn't have been more disappointed. We went this time to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we tried to make the best of it but I was so upset, the pool room was disgusting, we didn't have towels and when asked, they made us wait for housekeeping which took forever, then gave us dirty towels. Breakfast was a bust, the coffee maker in our room was broken and when we went for breakfast, I was almost finished before I even got a cup of coffee or orange juice. Liz at the front desk was rude and the entertainment our first day, my gosh, do they just hire random people? And none of the game room equipment worked except for the mini golf which doesn't require any mechanics. Then the second day, we followed the itinerary but missed out because they started everything earlier, like what's the point of the itinerary then? And the bartender, what? I guess they aren't worried about tips because the service was terrible. It's a shame really, you make such wonderful memories at a place like this that's couples only and then this happens. It's so sad, that I never want to go back again.

We stayed for an overnight trip, the staff was friendly. Definitely needs updated and could benefit from a deep cleaning . The dinner was awful and the manager did offer to replace it with something else, however we were not the only ones who returned our food. Breakfast was decent but was not hot , could have been warmer, have had free hotel breakfasts that were better. For the price paid it definitely wasn’t worth it.
