Diese Resort leigt sehr schön direkt am Atlantik und ist von einem schönen Golfplatz umringt.||Das Hotel an sich ist schon etwas älter, was man auch in den Zimmern zu spüren bekommt. Die Sauberkeit unseres Zimmers war nicht wie man es von einem Hochpreisigem Hotel erwarten könnte.Die gesamte Erscheinung des Hotels zeugt von einem alteehrwürdigem Charme, auch die Gäste des Hauses erscheinen nicht wie Normalsterbliches Volk, hauptsächlich Golfsportler und||ältere Personen sind zu sehen. Als Normaltourist fühlt man sich nicht immer wirklich wohl. Die Barmusik besticht aus nicht immer wohlklingender Jazz-Musik.||Insgesamt kein schlechter Eindruck bezüglich des geamten Hotels, der Preis im Vergleich zu modernen Hotels die wir auf unserer Reise hatten jedoch völlig überteuert.

Von allen Hotels unserer 2-Wöchigen Reise war das Somoset Resort im Punkto "Betten" der absolute Favorit. Aber auch sonst ist das Hotel wunderschön. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Richtung Golfplatz. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist superfreundlich gewesen. Der Fitnessbereich ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet und es gibt einen schönen grossen Indoor-Pool.

We had a lovely three-night stay at The Samoset between Christmas and the new year. Both my husband and I were extremely impressed with the staff at the resort. Every person we encountered was friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they are well trained. Kudos to management in being able to recruit such impressive people during a time when many employers are struggling to hire good employees. Our room was spotlessly clean and the food was great. All in all a great experience.

We came for the ice bar. The place was packed with hundreds of people enjoying all the festivities. The grounds were beautiful, ice sculptures everywhere, heat towers &igloos. Landscaping adorned with lights.
A very nice experience.
We decided not to eat there & went elsewhere. The menus looked awesome as I watched some people enjoy their appetizers.
It was very slippery- The staff was diligently placing rock salt all around. It was difficult for me to get around with my cane but I managed not to fall😊

We had such a nice vacation here. It was the offseason so the rate was fantastic, but it was still bustling around the holidays. My son had a lot of fun at the indoor pool, and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from our rooms each morning. Very pleased with the resort and the area in general. We’ll be back!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I am consistently amazed at the absolute professionalism and attentive nature of the entire staff.|For anyone planning a trip along mid coast Maine, Samoset needs to be on your bucket list. Beautiful views, extremely comfortable rooms, and no shortage of local activities. I can assure you, you will never be disappointed. |Not only is the Samoset resort a great place to stop along your way, it is also a great vacation destination in itself.

I was “gifted” an apology one night stay following attending a conference where there was a tack in my food.

And the gift was a HEADACHE. Though the manager and I had established I would be checking in around noon, at check in, I was informed my room wouldn’t be available until 4pm. Then I was told there was a room ready in the 2nd floor. Fine, I’ll take it. Then we get chased down the hall by the manager who then said magically my room was in fact ready.

So we go in and not only is there hair in the bathtub, but my service dog manages to find a piece of moldy sausage. So now I’m worried about her getting food poisoning.

I bring it down to the manager fuming while he basically asks what I want him to do. I have no idea. We finally agree free dinner and breakfast.

I will say, dinner was AMAZING. However, I ordered breakfast to go - an omelette without cheese, and yet the one given to me had so much cheese when I checked, I couldn’t even eat around it. I also had to check out in fifteen minutes to make it to an appt so though they were able to remake it, I didn’t even get to eat it while it was fresh because the people there clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Overall - the location is beautiful, but the headache isn’t worth it.
