From first glance the place looks tidy, clean, well designed and quiet. But within time i understood why? As read here already, certain facilities are broken for some time. The crew responded but nothing happened. Maybe management?
Now i understand why is quiet there. 🙂
Very expensive Gym with very little efforts!

Already x1 month a member with the following conclusions:
1. Actual closing time is 21h45 (they close the doors at 22h00)
2. Facilities are broken for a very long time (in the Spa for example) and management doesn't care!
3. Men lockers left side do not function for quite some time, there is no apology note or something. Neither fixing.
4. if you attend to swim - keep in mind the difference in opening hours with the swimming pool and zero flexibility from management in finding solutions regarding key return times!!
5. if you count on breakfast - bear in mind that there's only x1 staff onboard which can simply be stuck in other tasks for 15 min. Normally it is not a problem if you are not in a hurry for work or appointments.
6. Some staff members are rude, unfriendly and not service minded at all. Including management.

Update: after writing the six points above, I've been intimidated by some management crew members physically when visiting the sport club, as well as over the phone, and few emails (see below for the last one). They took a bold decision to terminate my membership per direct!
In Dutch there is a saying: "De klant is de koning/The client is the king", well...not in this Business, sorry. 🙏
Doesn't matter that membership costs here as X4 times as more than any other sport clubs around.
And last but not least, two additional points:
07 - there is only X1 dry sauna, with clothes on in this place
08 - you're likely to get a refund back if you dare to complain, and post your feedback in Google. In my case it is proven to be true. For everything there are pros & cons 😇

Het is duidelijk dat we je niet tevreden kunnen stellen helaas.
In plaats van met elkaar communiceren en onze bedrijfsvoering respecteren kies jij de weg publiekelijk je ontevredenheid te uiten.
Dit past niet binnen onze normen en waarden en we bieden je dan ook aan het resterende geld voor je lidmaatschap terug te betalen. (€230).
Aangezien je niet reageert en je rekening nr nog niet hebt doorgegeven heb ik je lidmaatschap geblokkeerd.

Je bent vanaf vandaag niet meer welkom in Sento.
Wanneer ben je bereikbaar zodat ik je kan bellen morgen?

A member of Sento club for 6 months now and really enjoy it. It is not cheap, but I think it is worth it. Atmosphere is great, staff is always welcome, super helpful and chill, big kudos to the team. All facilities are also well maintained, gym is not overcrowded, very relaxing and cozy spa centre. Also helpful that you can visit other group classes and swimming pool (but I haven’t been there). Can recommend!

Sento has been such a blessing as I was recovering from burnout, it’s become my go-to place. Everyone here is super personable and helpful and the crowd is so diverse. The coffee is amazing, really great trainers (Ties was my trainer and always so kind and proactive), and amazing spa that has everything you need, including a sauna and the best massage chairs where you can relax for a while. And the little touches like having bath salts makes all the difference. I’m really happy to have found this place in a time where I was struggling 💜 definitely one of the best experiences as an expat in Amsterdam!

The loveliest welcome and staff I’ve ever encountered at a spa. Had a truly magical time with my mum there. Thank you so much for such a personal welcome and in the end due to their policy of not accepting more than 4 additional members in the spa space, it really didn’t feel crowded. If anything it almost felt like a private spa for most of our time there.

Sento is zoveel meer dan een sportschool, er zit liefde in de plek en in de missie om iedereen gezond te laten leven. Het personeel is betrokken, vriendelijk en warm en je voelt je uitgenodigd om nog even een koffietje of sapje aan de bar te doen na het sporten. Ook de spa is fantastisch, je kan met de app goed plannen en weet daardoor ook hoe rustig of druk het is. Iedereen is respectvol en vriendelijk. Een oase van rust in ons drukke amsterdam

Facilites are great and in general and staff is friendly. I give it 3 stars because I think if you have a more complex case where you need attention, the personal trainers and physiotherapy aren't up to the task. I have some challenges to train and I was very disappointed that my physiotherapy there and the PT didn't seem to care too much to speak with each other to give me the proper support. I am in s new gym and it is now and day. Everyone is physiotherapist and they really know what to do. If you have no physical challenges and you just want a nice place to train, it is your place. If you have some health challenges, I would say for the money you pay, this places is not up to the task
