This hidden gem provided the perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. My family and I spent a relaxing 3-night stay and left feeling rejuvenated.

Nestled right on the Ganges, the property offered a truly peaceful atmosphere.The rooms were spotless, and the owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Besides, the friendly and efficient staff readily assisted with any needs we had. Their food was amazing too! We enjoyed every meal, and the variety of options catered to everyone's taste. It was the perfect touch to a relaxing stay.

Overall, this is a 10/10 experience. We'll definitely be back!

I think the manner and concept on which spashram has been built is amazing. While its completely unfair to expect a five star hotel to be built by cutting down the entire forest just for mans comfort and extravagant preferences.. Spashram has grasped the surrounding area, the birds and butterflies so well and the beauty and charm the place has by itself along with basic modern facilities any guest would require! Thank you Spashram for being so precious and unique!

Dishonourable Inderjit, Horrible Accommodation, Not worth more than 8k a night. They charge a Total Con - 28k a NIGHT ! Inderjit will share pics of foreigners and make a grand pitch. Do not trust it.

I’m sharing my family’s hugely letdown of an experience.

The accommodation is only an acre or so,
No car can enter, pathway is very tricky and dangerous, very poorly laid & far away from rooms. One can easily fall or hurt themselves on their way from road to the rooms. Inderjit didn’t disclose that there is no car access and pathway is a good 15 minutes trek to the room. At night it’s always risky. Not suitable for children and elders. Unfortunately my daughter and wife had to put up with it.

Rooms are poorly maintained, doors are rickety, moreover we never got hot water, ceiling / walls are not painted and wet in many areas. Communication is via Walky-Talky which is a huge problem. When we stayed in December the Window in bathroom literally fell of, no maintenance being done.

This stay required us putting up with disappointments.

No stable Wi-Fi or network, no hot water, Inderjit would subtly ask us not to ask for change of towels, we couldn’t take a shower when we wanted to, Fittings in bathroom is cheap, climbing from rooms to dining area is a big task ( none of this was informed prior to us )

Food was decent though. Yes, the property has access to the Ganges and they make a Bon fire.. But there’s a mismatch between promise and reality and tariff charged.

For the very average room and all the hassles - one wouldn’t pay more than 8000/- Inr a night. I felt conned as I paid 84,000/- for 3 nights.

Realising our disappointment and Spashram offering a bad experience Inderjit promised to refund me 28000/- but has avoided this. I wanted to move to Taj next door with my family, Inderjit requested us to complete our stay and he would make amends and refund the money. But, alas.

I’ve travelled a lot, but never experienced such a Conman and a hugely disappointing property. Pls be aware. I trusted him, but he was dishonourable. Hope you learn from my experience.

Spashram was truly a blissful and soothing escape amidst nature waking up to the chirping of the birds. While they have pledged to sustaining the nature and scenery around to the best extent they have made it a comfortable and a beautiful retreat which is peaceful and serene. People who uphold such values enjoy the place thoroughly. Spashram has a private beach, yoga sessions and massages if you book in advance. While there are other resorts in the area , Spashram is private and truly top notch.

My stay at Spashram, the Ayurveda retreat in Rishikesh, has been nothing less than a serene blessing. The peaceful surroundings made it an ideal destination for those who love spending time amidst nature. Waking up to the melodious chirps of birds and experiencing my own private beach was a surreal experience that left me feeling rejuvenated.
The peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with nature made my stay truly unforgettable. Moreover, their activities such as rock climbing, and river rafting in association with TigerPaws were totally worth the investment.

Not worth 28k a night for sure, owner IJ misbehaved. No car access, very steep descent to rooms, inconvenient for families.. Inderjit didn’t reveal to us that he has no road access to his resort which is off the highway and it’s a hard walk, not suitable for children under 9 yrs, not for seniors, and we can’t get to the rooms at night due to poor infrastructure, Worth only 7-10k a night with all meals as it’s just a simple place. He has learnt the art of marketing it to Foreigners & up-selling it. Beware and proceed. Very disturbing behaviour by him towards us and a family friend who came by.
