Wir hatten für zwei Nächte ein Townhouse gebucht. Laut Internet alle renoviert. Die Townhouses liegen hinter dem Hotel. Man kann mit dem Auto direkt hin fahren. Wir hatten eins im ersten Stock. Direkt am Eingang ist ein ca. 30cm großes Loch das in die Tiefe führt, sieht aus wie ein großes Abflussrohr, darüber liegt ein Gitter. Wir fanden es sehr grausig. Das könnte man auch besser verdecken. Oben steht man im Wohnzimmer, das sehr groß ist. Es ist auch renoviert allerdings ist es wesentlich dunkler als auf der Homepage des Hotels. Dann folgt eine relativ große offene Küche die uralt ist und einem alles verdirbt. Der Anblick bringt nur ein Kopf schütteln hervor. Ausgestattet ist die Küche mit einem großen Topf mit Deckel, ein paar Gläsr und Tassen,Teller und Besteck das so wie es aussah gar nicht benutzt werden konnte. Alles hatte eher schlechten Motel Charakter.Auch keine Pfanne und sonst auch nix. Also mit dem Inhalt kann und will man diese Küche nicht benutzen.||Dann kommt noch ein großes dunkles Schlafzimmer mit einem Regal und einem Schrank und ein winziges Bad. Und das alles für 450 Dollar ohne Frühstück.||Leider ist auch alles sehr hellhörig und der Kühlschrank ist so laut dass man nicht einschlafen kann.||Wir sind am nächsten Tag in ein schönes Inn nach Dorset umgezogen, das wesentlich billiger und viel schöner war.||Sonst kann ich über das Hotel nichts sagen, da unser Aufenthalt so kurz war.||Was positiv war, wir mussten die zweite gebuchte Nacht nicht bezahlen.

We had high hopes for our visit to Equinox. Given the price and the history I figured it would be top notch. Definitely disappointed. The rooms are outdated(VERY) and not well maintained. Our bathroom smells of mildew and there’s no fridge within the room. When you’re paying over $400 a night I’d expect more. Each hallway we’ve walked down has had trash around and not picked up(mind you this has been observed each day of our stay). It seems like the hotel is also understaffed and needs some overall upkeep. I also get that cannabis is legal but I don’t want to smell it when I’m walking around the property or speaking with the staff like they just smoked a fresh joint. So gross. Wish we could have canceled after the first night we arrived. Avoid this place at all cost and stay elsewhere. There’s plenty of cute B&Bs near by and also a brand new Hampton Inn just down the way

We’ve been visiting Manchester for the past 10 years and have often chosen The Equinox Golf Resort for its ability to host large groups and its convenient location near town. Sadly, we’ve watched this beautiful property deteriorate due to years of apparent mismanagement, and our most recent stay during the Christmas to New Year period was the most disappointing yet.||We booked a 3-bedroom townhouse months in advance to ensure our family and friends could stay together. However, upon arrival, we discovered that our reservation had been altered without any notification. Instead of a townhouse, we were given separate rooms in a building away from the main hotel. To make matters worse, our rooms weren’t ready, and we had to wait two hours without any mention of the change to our reservation.||The host, clearly upset by the situation, worked diligently to resolve the issue, eventually getting us into the townhouse the following day—a gesture we appreciated. Unfortunately, the townhouse itself fell far short of expectations. It was run-down, in desperate need of attention, and configured with separate rooms accessed by keypads around a common area—far from ideal given the premium price.||Throughout our stay, it was clear the hotel was overwhelmed. Several other guests were at the front desk, raising complaints about issues like non-functional TVs, rooms not being ready, and poor housekeeping. We personally experienced these issues as well—our room was never cleaned, and requests for fresh towels went unanswered.||The buffet breakfast was another letdown. While it seemed like a convenient option, we were surprised to find that children 10 and under eat at a reduced rate, but those 12 and under (even if they only had toast or cereal) were charged the full price of $40—a policy that felt excessive and unreasonable. The waitstaff were unhelpful and unfriendly, further detracting from the experience.||Our New Year’s Eve dinner at the hotel restaurant was the one bright spot. While the staff was clearly overwhelmed, they remained kind, and the chef stood out for his exceptional hospitality and quality food. Despite his efforts, it was evident that the hotel lacked adequate support to help him focus solely on his craft.||Summary:||Overpriced: The hotel charges premium rates but fails to deliver a premium experience.|Understaffed and Overwhelmed: The team struggles to handle the volume of guests, particularly during peak holiday periods.|Run-Down Facilities: The property, including townhouses, desperately needs investment and refurbishment.|Potential Unfulfilled: The location is excellent, and the property has real promise, but it requires new management and significant improvements to reach its potential.|Unfortunately, we won’t be returning until significant changes are made to improve the overall experience.

This hotel was, without a doubt, the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The service and quality have completely deteriorated. Avoid staying here at all costs.||We arrived on Thursday, 12/26, and were immediately met with a rude front desk receptionist who told us to take our bags back to the car and bring them to our building ourselves because the bellman was unavailable. There was no internet service, and housekeeping never came to our room during our stay.||The tipping point, however, was discovering that our room was infested with ants. They were everywhere—in the beds, luggage, floors, and bathrooms. It was absolutely disgusting. I even woke up to find two ants crawling on my chest.||The problems didn’t stop there. The food was terrible, the wine selection was boxed and subpar, and the hotel itself is falling apart. While waiting to speak to the manager, I witnessed three other guests complaining about various issues. Charging $1,000 a night for this place is outrageous.||To their credit, they did remove two nights of the three we stayed from our bill, which I appreciate. However, the effort required to get that resolution was ridiculous. This experience was beyond disappointing.

This resort was great for a weekend getaway! The ski resorts are close, breakfast& dinner at the Marsh Tavern were yummy, the bar is fantastic, and the beds are so comfortable. The spa with hot tub, sauna, and steam rooms were much needed after a day of skiing. Would definitely come back!

Great hotel with great customer service.! Beds were super comfy and our room was clean and cozy upon entering. The spa was exquisite and the outdoor hot tub was delightful after a day of skiing. The hotel is close to surrounding three mountains. Restaurants at the hotel had great food and all staff were super pleasant! Great hotel for couples and families!

My husband and I visited Vermont to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, staying from Friday to Monday at The Equinox Golf and Spa Resort. It was an incredible experience, made even better by the wonderful staff. The views were breathtaking, the town charming, and the people so friendly, with plenty of things to do. One of the highlights of our trip was Celeste at the front desk—she was absolutely amazing and truly enhanced our stay. On Saturday, we returned to our room to find a delightful surprise: chocolate-covered strawberries and a cheese plate. Her thoughtful gesture really made our visit special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was cozy and inviting.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, the property and rooms are in dire need of maintenance and upkeep.

The room I stayed in had several issues, but the most alarming was the excessive mold growth in the bathroom. This was not only unpleasant but also a serious health concern.

To make matters worse, the staff lacked kindness and hospitality. As a guest, I expected a certain level of service and welcoming attitude, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

The “tavern” feels like a cafeteria and has about 4 dinner options.

Until the hotel addresses these major issues, I would not recommend it to anyone. A thorough renovation and staff retraining are necessary to bring this hotel up to acceptable standards for the price they charge.
