Schlecht. Aufbackbrötchen. Keine Wurst,- Käse-,Marmeladenwaren von regionalen Herstellern! Proleten mit lauten Kindern im Sauna- und Poolbereich! Ich bitte Sie! Wer braucht sowas heute noch, wenn er sich erholen möchte Es gibt inzwischen so viele Hotels, die keine Kinder akzeptieren! Zu Recht!

My husband and I came in from upstate NY to attend our neice's wedding. I was very impressed with the staff. There was always someone to open the door for us -- truly appreciated . The room - king size bed - was very clean and comfortable. I wish I had a mattress that comfortable!! I was midly annoyed when we arrived and couldn't check into our room until 4:45. The only complaint I have was that there was nowhere - save the small 'gift shop' - to get any snacks or drinks. Anyway, we will certainly stay at this hotel on our next visit to Long Island. highly recommend.

So I last went here about 9yrs ago and gave them a 1 star.|I mentioned in that review that id probably go back simply as they are close to my wife's family and thus this year I did for 2 nights but in hindsight it should have been longer.||Completely different experience this time round the staff were fantastic from the girls at the front desk to the young guy who helped with the luggage and the chaps at breakfast to the absolutely outstanding barman (cant remember his name as was several cocktails deep when he told me but he is an actor sometimes) . This hotel has genuine character with quality and you really feel like you are experiencing the real USA rather than the touristy overload elsewhere . Its a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants in Garden City which are as good as you get anywhere and again filled with character.||Breakfast selection was very good, not huge but more than adequate but this place sets itself apart with the quality which from the fruit to the bread was exceptional.|I NEVER eat scrambled egg in hotels as its rarely edible but I ate two servings both days here it was delicious.||It will not be 9yrs before I visit again in fact ill likely be back inside of 12 months.

Old style luxury hotel with all amenities. Very well trained staff. First class service from arrival to departure. Rooms spacious. Well maintained facility. Substantially less expensive than an average hotel in midtown. When we were staying the LA hockey team was staying for a game with the Islanders. So well respected property. Town is walkable and quaint. Only complaint is overpriced breakfast buffet only w zero menu options

Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a while. When we checked in, it was 3:45PM and our check in time was 4:00PM. We booked two rooms of the same category and were informed only one room would be ready at that time. A little after 4 we were told that the other room was ready. It was on the second floor despite the fact we requested a high floor. The room had one small window in the corner and was on the second floor next to the event space. It felt as though you were staying in a basement. When we asked if any other rooms were available since this was drastically different from our second room in the same category, we were informed that they would not move us to any other room because they didn’t have the “staff” to freshen up the room when we had just used it to change after a long trip and our room not being ready on time. The management was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful, especially a gentleman named Anthony, who was very rude on the phone and offered no solution to make the situation amicable. Upon checking out, I had a conversation with the front desk staff who continued to insist that the room was acceptable and that they would be willing to take $50 off and that they never do that, so I should appreciate what they’re doing for me. I was also told that the reason I didn’t like my room was because “you saw the other room you booked which was much nicer.” If that was the case, why were both rooms considered the same category and the same price? Very disappointed and surely will not be returning or recommending this hotel to others.

Angelina Hachoose and Chris Squires were exceptional staff the night I stayed at the hotel for a wedding .
Friday night December 13,2024.
Angelina was able to accommodate me when I needed to reserve another room for a family member.
Angelina was respectful, polite and just pleasant.
Chris helped me when I said there was a problem he took care of the problem with no hesitation at all.
I thanked both of these employees and asked for there names because I wanted to put in a nice review for them .
They both went above and beyond that night and they both deserve to be acknowledged for this .
Angelina and Chris are exceptional caring staff at the front desk .
