Our son & daughter-in-law held their reception at High Crest on New Year's Eve 2024. Everyone at The Wave helped make it the wedding of the century! The majority of rooms were booked by our wedding guests and everyone absolutely loved the accommodations! What's not to love with those fantastic ocean views? Each and every person, from the front desk staff, the valet guys, housekeeping, and event staff were friendly, welcoming, kind, and did everything they could do make our event special. The Wave is so well-appointed...class personified. Loved hanging on those comfy couches in the lobby and relaxing prior to the big event. Everything was sooooo luxurious. The kids held their Recovery Brunch in The Bar and that was amazing as well. Not just the good food, put the classy style and look of the place added to the ambiance. Many thanks to all who were part of Chelsea and Trent's love story! We are so blessed and appreciate all your hard work in making it a memorable night for all our party people!!!

I stayed here a couple of years ago and it's very pricey in the summer. Out of season weekend was very enjoyable. Great walkable location, excellent view, and the rooms are lovely. There is no room service in the off-season, and the bar hours are very limited, which I guess is to be expected.
Parking is $55 a day so I parked in the lot across the street for $20 a day. There is free on street parking but as a snow storm was expected, underground parking made more sense.
Cannot beat the location.

I am very over due in writing this. I went for a getaway during the winter last year and it was so great that I am going back this winter! Taylor and Gina went above and beyond in helping me while I was there. The place was so relaxing. The spa was great. Had a great meal in the restaurant. Enjoyed wandering around the little strip during a quiet time. Feels like a little hidden gem of a spot!

I would like to say “Thanks” to Tylor from the reception! She was really friendly and helpful. Otherwise the hotel is super OVERPRICED! The room that we got was superior king with ocean view. All night we were freeziing! I didn’t slept even 1 hour - that cold it was. The bed and pillows were kind of uncomfortable. The furniture are really old with scratches. The furniture in the balcony-same! Old, metal chairs and bench.. Absolutely nothing worth almost $400 per night. Nothing included in this price - No parking, no breakfast, no spa, not even the mini bar was included. The hotel doesn’t have heated pool. Oh yes, we got “complimentary” plastic glass of champagne. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because they are cat friendly (they are not providing anything for the pets as some hotels are giving food bowls, treats..). But am I going back - definitely No 🙂 They charged us $200 deposit and we still waiting for the money back.. I wish we spent our money for a better hotel.

I want to start this off by saying the staff of this establishment exceeded all my expectations. Katie and Mark were every helpful. I appreciate the consistency and communication I had with both of them. Katie answered all my questions and that's when knew I made the right choice in this venue. Tyra and Kevin were amazing they made sure my step-dads surprise party ran smoothly. They were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond even so far as to helping when my daughter got sick and packed her some food to go. Lucas was the perfect server. Compliments to the chef the food was delicious, flavorful and beautifully prepared. The High Crest banquet room has the best view of the ocean with the heated balcony and the overall aesthetics and atmosphere of the room was wonderful. I look forward to booking future events.

My biggest problem is that the first room I was shown was not what I booked. I booked the room class ocean front king with terrace for the rate of over 900$ that I saw in 360 tour with a wrap around balcony, big, bright and beautiful. The room I was shown had a completely unfunctional, layout and was dark and cave like. So beware, the room you book may not be the room you receive. I was told that specific room is a “15 series” which needs to be requested but not guaranteed. I felt like it was bait and switch. Luckily, Megan was able to move things around so that I could get the room I thought I was paying for. Otherwise the hotel is upscale, beautiful and trendy. Breakfast was fantastic, but dinner and bar selections were lacking in selection and preparation. Pool is small, heated and comfortable place to hang out. The pool also has bar stools in the pool as well as a poolside bar. The gym was small with 2 treadmills, a step machine, free weights, pull down machine and a broken peloton bike. Lastly, even though the staff is professional and friendly, Unfortunately my brand new LV luggage was scuffed on departure. I did not notice it to I returned home. So I advise you handle your own luggage.

We are frequent & experienced travelers so this is a qualified review. The room was dirty & smelled moldy. The walls & moldings were filthy. Furniture is cheap. Outdoor chairs were flimsy. Window was filmy. Part of bed frame broke off in my hand when i touched it. Thermostat remained at 76 after turning it down to 68. Had to sleep with balcony door cracked to cool off. We had an after dinner drink at the bar which was freezing cold. The bartender was wearing a winter coat. Weird vibe!
Valets were very pleasant but the fee was $55! The parking garage next door was $15…..no brainer. We arrived at 6pm and left the next morning so we were not there long enough to complain. The location and ocean view is outstanding but overall it was very disappointing. Has a similar experience at their sister property, The Bungalow. The best I can say is that their management team is consistently bad! They should seriously consider transitioning to a large brand hotel with quality controlled management.

The Wave Resort was the perfect choice for our wedding from the very beginning. The team was easy to work with, attentive to every detail, and made the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a modern atmosphere.

The food was delicious, and the entire weekend went off without a hitch. Our family and friends can’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers on all fronts, The Wave Resort is it!
