Schöne, weitläufige Anlage mit einer Anzahl von Gebäuden aus unterschiedlichen Epochen. Haben dort 5 Übernachtungen im historischen Kingmansion (um 1840)verbracht. Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Tappan Zee Brigde und den Hudson. Große, sehr schön gestaltete Parkanlage mit 2 alten Herrenhäusern, Kellerbar, Sonnenterrasse, Rezeption, Frühstücksraum, Innen- und Außenpool. Gutes Personal, welches allerdings mehr auf den Event- und Tagungsgast fixiert ist. Leider nur eingeschränkte Gastronomie (vor 17:00 Uhr, nach 23:00 Uhr). Unweit Tarrytown, ca. 6 km. Empfehlenswerte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit guter Anbindung an NYC!

This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is incredible, and it’s perfect whether you’re looking to relax for a special occasion or just have a great time with friends. I’ve stayed here twice, and both times felt like something out of a fairytale. It definitely gives off a cool castle vibe.

The staff is super friendly, and the amenities are awesome—indoor and outdoor pools, a racquetball court, a well-equipped gym, and a sauna. The Biddle Mansion is stunning, and the views are just breathtaking. Breakfast was really good, though I wish there were a few more savory options. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I can’t wait to go back!

Our stay here was short, but absolutely wonderful. We had a room in the King Mansion, and the atmosphere was awesome. The antique fixtures in the bathroom were so cool, and having a private balcony off the room was a pleasant surprise. We had a fabulous view of the river, and we were fortunate enough to have a beautiful sunset to enjoy on the balcony the evening we arrived. This is an old building. Anyone staying here should be aware that it isn't a stay in a brand new luxury hotel. It's a historic mansion that's been converted. That said, everything is updated and quite comfortable. Would absolutely come stay here again when visiting the area. The cost of the stay was well worth the beauty and atmosphere of the inn.

This is a very unique place. The estate building itself is charming. The grounds are well-maintained and the landscaping is great. The hotel buildings were obviously built over what is likely decades and thus it is a bit of a cornucopia of styles, levels, and seemingly random hallways, corners, and exits. It takes a while to find your room or find your way out of the hotel, or find your way really anywhere.||Our room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was very prompt however they did not leave any new terry. We called guest services, they too were very nice however the towels never showed up. C'est la vie but at this price point a little annoying.||We were there to attend a wedding, which was exceptionally well executed. The catering staff here does a wonderful job. Everything from the wedding itself - which was outdoors at sunset, to a large-scale cocktail hour to the reception was well done. We did not dine at the third-party restaurant, but it seemed to be very popular just based on the number of people coming and going. They do have a restaurant that is open for breakfast (I think buffet only) and a bar downstairs in the Mansion proper which was sold out for parties on both nights we were there. Not a big deal if you are attending an event, but likely very annoying if you are not.||My biggest recommendation for this place is that they should consider lighting the pathways at night. It is quite challenging, particularly because nothing is level, and in the dark more than a little dangerous.||This was an adventure.

We hosted a leadership offsite at Tarrytown House Estate this week with over 60 leaders and absolutely loved our experience. The property is absolutely beautiful… both inside the many houses as well as the grounds. The property has beautiful views of the Hudson River. In addition, the staff were amazing… from the time I checked in (Brianna at the front desk was so helpful and a pleasure) to the staff supporting our two days with the room amenities, food, etc. the food was delicious. I highly recommend a stay whether for a business gathering or personal.

Bait and switch much? The website is a total ripoff of what you actually get. The room we received looked nothing like what’s on the website and it was in a weird part of the property. The bed was too soft and by the time my husband and I got into it, we were sunken into the middle. Not comfortable. Woke up with back pain.
There was a used condom on the floor of our room!!!! Yuck!!! Which led us to question if our room had been thoroughly cleaned or not.
Breakfast is not included. It’s $25 a person and the property is literally away so far from town you absolutely have to have a car. Do not recommend!

Perfect halfway hotel between DC and Boston. I've stayed here twice with my young family (2 adults, 2 kids) on Thanksgiving return drives back to Boston. Great both times. Super friendly and comfortable, beautiful manicured grounds. And now, Goosefeather, which is the type of meal I would expect to get in either DC or Boston - but as a hotel restaurant! You know it's good when it seems to be destination dining for the locals. We enjoyed an excellent meal, retired to our room for some rest, and woke up early for the second leg of the trip. Totally recommend it.

I was here for a work retreat and stayed for 4 nights. There is an old-timey feel to the whole place, and therein lies its charm.||I was given a double queen room in the Rockland building. The room was spacious,well stocked and cozy. The walls are pretty thin,so you'll hear some mumbling if the neighbouring room has its TV on.||Check in was smooth and there was breakfast provided everyday of my stay. There were limited vegetarian hot options, but it's possible to eat heartily.||The grounds are very quiet, peaceful and October gives great fall views throughout. If you're celebrating a romantic occasion or coming through your workplace, this is a great environment.||The nearby funeral home really goes all-out on their Halloween decoration !!
