Tolle Anlage an traumhafter Lage mitten im Grünen. Auf einem Spaziergang lässt sie die Gegend erkunden aber auch ein Blick von der Aussichtsplattform lohnt sich. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wie das ganze Haus. Zum Frühstück würd ein riesiges Buffet aufgetischt. Abends stehen zwei Restaurants zur Auswahl.

I can’t say how the rooms were as we only came for ice skating. What we did experience was fantastic customer service and very clean. The place was beautiful and very affordable for a family and friend experience. We were very happy and will definitely be back.

The service was spectacular from the time we stepped out of our vehicle onto the grounds. Everyone was extremely happy, helpful, respectful, and kind. It was our first trip to the lodge and everyone we encountered gave us helpful tips on what all there was to see and do. We had drinks at the library, on of their bars. The bartenders were extremely knowledgeable and made fantastic and balanced drinks. Even in off season times there was still a ton to do. Our room was kept clean and beautiful for the entirety of our stay. Our only draw back was the heater and the fact that our room was too hot for us, not a huge deal as we were able to open our windows. Will follow with food reviews for the Winston and the tap room.

It was such a great trip. Tons of fun activities as well as relaxing trail walk if you prefer. This is our second visit, but we are definitely coming back for sure! Service staff are very friendly and nice and nothing to complain. Food was great as well.

Overpriced based on our experience and missing any small touches to make it a memorable hotel. Check in was rushed and impersonal and I had ordered and paid extra for a cake for a birthday and they forgot to bring it out at dinner. What I really wanted to comment on though was the paid activities. They were very oversubscribed and honestly I don’t think I’ve ever met a more unenthusiastic group of people leading them. The archery “lesson” was literally a man handing me a bow, barely speaking, and looking utterly miserable. Not sure if staff are paid and treated properly but that definitely wasn’t the impression I got.

I have been going to Skytop annually for 25 years for a family reunion, it is a very special place, beautiful, special, romantic, but also family oriented, historic and nature-centered, many things to do, all family oriented, we have built a tradition to go every year for a reunion, it is spectacular!! Fall is our favorite time, but all seasons offer specific highlights. The staff is remarkable , I cannot say enough about this beautiful getaway in the Poconos!

Rooms are small but we didn't spend much time there as the lodge and grounds are beautiful. We were there for the marriage conference and it was worth every penny. We already have reservations for our daughter and her husband to attend next March and stay at Skytop!
